Christmas Club Account
This type of account is essentially a short-term savings account. We begin opening Christmas Club Accounts the second week of November. You can select an amount for regular deposit (weekly, every two weeks, or monthly) that you are comfortable with and that meets your savings goals. We have coupon books you can use to help keep track of your deposits. The account is left open through the first week of November, at which time a check for the balance in your account plus interest is mailed to you and you have your holiday shopping well funded. Remember, too that you could use a Christmas Club Account to save for holiday travel, not just shopping.
